The old-fashioned way

Back before signal lights someone had to stand and direct traffic at major intersections and that’s the way Rockdale had to handle it Thursday morning when the signal lights failed in all four directions at the Cameron-Main (US 79-FM 908 Northbound) corner. Rockdale volunteer firefighters Herbie Vaughan (L) and Chris Deener did the honors. An Oncor crew quickly repaired the lights and normal traffic patterns resumed.
