ANNAPOLIS, MD—Tatiana Olivares, an eighth-grade student at Rockdale Junior-High School, has been named one of the few students to be selected for the U. S. Naval Academy’s’ Summer STEM program.
She will experience world class facilities at one of the country’s top engineering programs and become familiar with the Naval Academy program and interact with other students interested in STEM fields.
The program typically receives close to 5,000 applications and is only able to invite 28- students per session. Olivares will meet students from across the United States.
She is the daughter of Esmerelda Olivares.
