Rockdale Police Officers made one felony arrest during the past week:
• Daniel Tovar, 41, Rockdale, was arrested by Lt. Hubnik for possession of a controlled substance (4 to 200 grams) and for 12 Milam County warrants.
Accidents
• Ofc. Wachtel responded to near the intersection of Cameron and Wilcox for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries on April 23 at 8:01 a.m.
• Ofc. Lentz responded to Meadow at Murray for a minor two-vehicle accident on April 25 at 3:09 p.m.
• Ofc. Wachtel responded to Tractor Supply for a minor accident on April 26 at 1:17 p.m.
• Ofc. Puente responded to near Alpha One Chevrolet for a two-vehicle accident with possible injuries on April 26 at 6:08 p.m.
Arrests
RPD officers made nine arrests during the past seven days including two each for no drivers license and displaying expired registration, and one each for operating a vehicle without registration or license plate, failure to appear, speeding, assault causes bodily injury/family violence and a Dallas County warrant.
Calls for Service
Rockdale Police Officers responded to 207 total calls for service during the past week including 106 for 911 emergency service.
Incident Report
There were 25 incidents on the report for the past week including 11 for the report only, two each for no drivers license, displaying expired registration, assault, and one each for operating a vehicle without registration and license plate, speeding, a Dallas County warrant, possession of a controlled substance, a Milam County Sheriff's Office warrant, theft of property, criminal mischief and indecency with a child.
