I t’s been a slow first week for candidates to declare in the May 2.
There had only been one filing for Rockdale’s city, school board and hospital district ballots.
That came in the school board election where Place : incumbent Julia Cardona has fi led for a new term.
Other term expiring this year is for Place 6 where Lin Perry is the incumbent.
Other terms expiring this year are incumbents: C ity — Doug Calame, west ward; Denise Holmes- al-lace, east ward. File at City Hall. H osp ita l district— Gerry Offield, Place 2 (East ard); Karolyn Puccio, Place 4 ( est W ard) Lachelle Matthews (At Large). Forms may be picked up at City Hall or the district’ office in the former hospital.
