Of course Thursday’s RHS Football Banquet at the KC Hall won’t be the last time the Tigers’ 2017 state championship will be remembered, but it was one of the largest celebrations. About 500 excited fans packed into the hall for awards and memories, including a game-by-game review of Big Blue’s fantastic season. The evening featured a video that included congratulations from a number of organizations, as well as numerous photos from the season. That’s Tiger Brajon Ayala on the big screen at left, enjoying the post-game happy chaos at AT&T Stadium. The Reporter continues to sell its limited edition “Tiger Fight Never Dies,” a complete re-telling of Big Blue’s road to grid glory for $5 each at the newspaper office, 221 East Cameron (US 79).
