St. Monica Ladies BBQ fundraiser Sunday

The St. Monica’s Ladies will have a drive-through barbecue fundraiser starting at 10 a.m. Sunday at Simon George Hall.

Plates are $12 and will have both barbecue chicken and Green’s sausage. There will also be a sweet shop.

Senior Center seeking volunteers, donations

The Rockdale Senior Center is in need of volunteers on Mondays to deliver Meals on Wheels twice per month.

They are also asking for donations for their Angel Tree and seeking people to adopt a senior or buy items from their wish list.

Rockdale Homecoming set for June 12th

The Rockdale Homecoming Association is busy making plans for the June 12 homecoming event, which will be held at the Patterson Civic Center. Tickets for the meal will be on sale soon.

The Class of 1972 will be honored this year.

AA meeting weekly at Crossroads Church

Rockdale Peace Seekers AA meetings are at Crossroads Bible Church, 811 Burleson St.

The meetings are scheduled on Tuesdays and Sundays at 7:30 p.m.

Narcotics Anonymous meeting Thursdays

Narcotics Anonymous meets every Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church.

A&M Club to hold muster dinner April 21

The Milam County A&M Club will be holding the Annual Aggie Muster on Thurs., April 21 at 44 Farms in Cameron. The Muster will begin at 7 p.m. starting with dinner, followed by the speaker and roll call for the absent.

The meal will be provided by the Milam County Aggie Moms Club. The speaker is Mr. Bob Walker class of 1958.

All former students, parents of current students and Class of 2026 newly accepted Aggies are encouraged to attend and participate in one of Texas A&M’s most cherished traditions.

Tickets are $12.00 and can be purchased from Muster Chairman Stephen Fuchs, 254-482-0052, at Ideal Poultry in Cameron.
