Alcoa retirees to meet June 9 in Thorndale
Rockdale Alcoa Retirees will hold a meeting on Thursday, June 9 at 5 p.m. at the Thorndale Veteran’s Memorial Hall.
The business meeting begins at 5:45 and then the election for officers.
Meals will be $15.00 and donations towards hall rental will be accepted.
Desserts will be last name groups M-Z.
Meadowbrook Baptist to hold VBS June 6-9
Meadowbrook Baptist Church will hold a Vacation Bible School June 6-9 from 9 a.m. to 12-noon. Ages for attendance are children who have reached their sixth birthday by Sept. 1 of this year through fifth grade.
“This year’s theme is ‘Spark Studios’ in which kids can spark their imagination and kick their creativity into high gear,” said spokesperson Lisa Todd. “They will discover that their creativity is a gift from the infinitely creative Creator who designed them for His glory.”

Rockdale Homecoming set for June 12th
The Rockdale Homecoming Association is planning the annual Homecoming for Sunday, June 12, at the Patterson Center.
Come early to visit with friends and stay late to take in the program and eat lunch. RSVP is required for lunch. Please see the invitation in this issue and return your reply by May 22.
Rainbow Courts and the McKinney family will be honored as well as the RHS Class of 1972 at this hometown favorite event.

Keto support group meets Thursdays at 7
A keto support group meets at the First Baptist Church’s south entrance every Thursday at 7 p.m. A newcomers session will start at 6:30 p.m.

AA meeting weekly at Crossroads Church Rockdale Peace Seekers AA meetings are at Crossroads Bible Church, 811 Burleson St.
The meetings are scheduled on Tuesdays and Sundays at 7:30 p.m.
Narcotics Anonymous meeting Thursdays Narcotics Anonymous meets every Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church.
