Thorndale 4-H/FFA fish fry fundraiser set for July 31 at VFD rec hall
The Thorndale 4-H and FFA Ag Boosters club will have a fish fry fundraiser at 11 a.m. Sunday, July 31, at the Thorndale Volunteer Fire Department Recreation Hall.
The event will feature drive-through to-go plates only and plates will include fish, noodles, coleslaw, pinto beans and tartar sauce for $12.
Desserts will be available for a free will donation. Keto support group meets Thursdays at 7
A keto support group meets at the First Baptist Church’s south entrance every Thursday at 7 p.m. A newcomers’ session will start at 6:30 p.m.

Heavenly Treasures Christmas in July
Heavenly Treasures will have Christmas items for sale for the month of July.
The first Friday of each month will be a $5 Bag Day Sale.
AA meeting weekly at Crossroads Church
Rockdale Peace Seekers AA meetings are at Crossroads Bible Church, 811 Burleson St.
The meetings are scheduled on Tuesdays and Sundays at 7:30 p.m.
Celebrate Recovery meets Saturdays
Rockdale Celebrate Recovery meets Saturdays from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at 1443 South FM 487.
