Minerva Cemetery Assn. work day May 6 The Miner va Cemetery Association will have a work session on May 6 from 9 a.m. to noon.
The day will consist of leveling headstones, filling in sunken areas and limb trimming.
Rockdale Homecoming to be held June 11th The Rockdale Homecoming Association annual citywide homecoming will be Sunday, June 11, at the Patterson Civic Center.
Rockdale High School Class of 1973 will be the honored class of 50 years.

Historical Society to meet at depot Tuesday
The Rockdale Historical Society will hold their monthly meeting at 6 p.m. May 11 at the depot.
“Please come to the depot to see and hear what interesting and exciting things are going on,” volunteer Pat Watson said. All are welcome.
Heavenly Treasures $5 bag sale on Friday Heavenly Treasures will have their $5 bag sale Friday.
Hours are 9 a.m. to noon Tuesdays through Thursdays and 5 to 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month.
AA meeting weekly at Crossroads Church Rockdale Peace Seekers AA meetings are at Crossroads Bible Church, 811 Burleson St. The meetings are scheduled on Tuesdays and Sundays at 7:30 p.m.
