Aggie Muster ahead Monday in Cameron

CAMERON—The Milam County A&M Club will holding its annual Aggie Muster at 7 p.m. April 22, at 44 Farms in Cameron.

The meal will be provided by Milam County Aggie Moms Club. Speaker is R. Sam Torn, Texas Aggie class of 1970 and immediate Past Chair of the 12th Man Foundation.

All former students, parents of current students, and Class of 2023 newly accepted Aggies are encouraged to attend and participate

Tickets are $12 and can be purchased from Muster Chairwoman Mikaela Fuchs 254-718-2621, at Ideal Poultry in Cameron or contact Art Free 512-760-0510 in Rockdale for tickets.

Historical Society seeks quilts for May 4 exhibit

The Rockdale Historical Society will host a quilt exhibit May 4 at the I&GN Historical Depot and is now accepting quilts to display.

Genealogical Society slates Tuesday meeting

The Milam County Genealogical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, in the fellowship hall of First Presbyterian Church, 1600 Alcoa, Rockdale.

The new handicap access entrance to the church is adjacent to the Palmer Street entrance to the parking lot.

Dolores Sonntag is in charge of the program.

Members with surnames beginning with P through Z will be in charge of refreshments. Ice, drinks and paper goods will be provided. All members are encouraged to attend. Visitors are always welcomed—Linda Whorton, publicity

Ticket sales continue for Terlingua diorama

CAMERON—Milam County Railroad Museum continues this week with the winner to receive a scale railroad diorama of the famous Terlingua ghost town in the Big Bend.

Donations may be made Monday through Friday at these Cameron locations: The Bling Box, Cameron Chamber of Commerce, Agrilife Extension Office and the Milam County Historical Museum.

Donation tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. Drawing will be May 11 during National Train Day activities.

The railroad museum is open 10 to 4 Tuesdays and Saturdays.
