Pack Pals and Crossroads Bible Church distribute meals
Crossroads Bible Church, in collaboration with Pack Pals, will begin distributing meals every Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. while supplies last.
Families will receive a week’s worth of meals for each child in the family.
“The church is located at 811 Burleson in Rockdale. Come around the circle at the end of the road and someone will bring the meals to your car,” according to RISD Assistant Superintendent Pam Kaufmann.

Liberty Cemetery Association cancels annual meeting
The annual Liberty Cemetery Association meeting scheduled for July 5, has been canceled for this year due to COVID-19.
“The executive board thought for the safety of all, it was better to cancel,” according to Judy York, association secretary.
