SPECIAL GIFT—Rockdale Memorial Post 6525 Auxiliary presented a check in the amount of $300 to Elissa Benford-Roberts for the City of Rockdale Friends of Veterans Park monuments project. The funds will be used to help purchase five military branch monuments that will be placed to honor our local veterans. Pictured are (L-R) auxiliary officers Irene Garza, Donna Diver, Rita Johnson, Paula Stewart and Veteran’s Park coordinator Benford-Roberts. Donations for the project may be mailed to Benford-Roberts at 60 Post Oak Place in Rockdale.
