Tanglewood VFD to host fish fry March 13
The Tanglewood VFD will host a drive through fish fry fundraiser from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 13.
Plates are $10 for adults and $5 for children and will include fish, French fries, hush puppies, coleslaw, green beans and a dessert.
HB 1359 meeting at country club March 13
There will be a meeting of the Texas Nationalist Movement at Rockdale Country Club on Saturday, March 13 at 3 p.m.
The event speaker will be Daniel Miller, president of the Texas Nationalist Movement, and he will discuss HB 1359, “Right to vote on Texas Secession.”
Linwood scholarship applications due April 15
The deadline for application for the Linwood Acres Garden Club scholarship is April 15.
This is open to graduating seniors from Rockdale, Milano and Thorndale who will be majoring in Horticulture, Agriculture, or a related field. High school guidance
High school guidance counselors have the applications.
