Breakfast with Aladdin characters on Saturday

Milam Community Theater will hold a breakfast with the cast of Aladdin, an upcoming production. Enjoy breakfast/brunch with Aladdin and his friends. You’ll be able to eat together, take pictures with the characters and take home a special gift.

Two breakfasts/brunches are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

Tickets are $10 per attendee. Spots are limited to ensure that everyone gets time with the characters. Reserve your space at www.milamcommunitytheater.com. Gause VFD fundraiser scheduled April 10th

The Gause Volunteer Fire Department will hold their annual barbecue fundraiser on April 10 starting at 11 a.m. at the Gause VFD building at 110 E. Gause Blvd.

Plates are $12 and will include brisket, sausage, beans, potato salad and dessert with all the fixings.

AA meets at Crossroads Bible Church weekly

Rockdale Peace Seekers AA meetings are at Crossroads Bible Church, 811 Burleson St.

The meetings are scheduled on Tuesdays and Sun days at 7:30 p.m.

Linwood scholarship applications due April 15

The deadline for application for the Linwood Acres Garden Club scholarship is April 15.

This is open to graduating seniors from Rockdale, Milano and Thorndale who will be majoring in horticulture, agriculture, or a related field.

High school guidance counselors have the applications.

Farmer’s Market set to return Saturday

Rockdale Chamber of Commerce announced the return of their Farmer’s Market on the grounds of the Chamber Office at the historic Coffield Stone Tree House at 1203 W. Cameron.

The outdoor market is popular with the community and the high-exposure location on US 79/Cameron Ave. is beneficial to vendors.

Heavenly Treasures shifts their open days

Heavenly Treasures will be open four days a week starting April 6 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon.

Their April special is $3 bags every Wednesday.
