POSGCD hosts Zoom landscape class
Post Oak Savannah Groundwater Conservation District is hosting a virtual Landscape Irrigation class Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12-noon on Zoom. It will cover how to plan and install an efficient, water-conserving irrigation system using several different water supply options like harvested rainwater.

Girl Scouts of Central Texas start new project
The Girl Scouts of Central Texas (GSCTX) will celebrate their centennial, the 100th anniversary of the first Girl Scout troop formed in our area in 1921. As part of our centennial celebration, Girl Scouts are encouraged to participate in a council-wide service proj ect.
Girl Scouts and troops may choose from a list of identified community partner projects or organize a service project of their own. Milam County Girl Scouts has chosen to do their own service project in our area of Milam County.
They are looking to do 100 acts of service in Milam County, and are providing the service free of charge. It can be for a church, organization, city, individual or group.

Narcotics Anonymous meets Thursdays
Narcotics Anonymous meets every Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church.

AA meets at Crossroads Bible Church weekly
Rockdale Peace Seekers AA meetings are at Crossroads Bible Church, 811 Burleson St.
The meetings are scheduled on Tuesdays and Sundays at 7:30 p.m.
Heavenly Treasures shifts their open days
Heavenly Treasures is now only open four days a week, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon.
Their April special is $3 bags every Wednesday.
