It was called the “dinky,” it was familiar to generations of Rockdale and Milam County residents in decades gone by and it’s now part of the elaborate layout at the Milam County Railroad Museum, 101 West Main in downtown Cameron. The display includes John Johnson’s “Old Cameron” masterpiece and it will be the site of an open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. There have been recent additions to the layout including South Milam County’s Sugarloaf Mountain. Lemonade and cookies will be served. The open house is free but donations will be accepted.
