POLICE REPORT
Rockdale police were called to a pair of three-vehicle accidents during the past week.
Police, and the Rockdale Volunteer Fire Department, were called out at 7:53 a.m. Thursday to an accident on US 79 near Rockdale Intermediate School.
Drivers were listed as Laura Cate of Austin, Alexis Piedra of Austin and Jeffrey Rothrock of Taylor.
Damage estimates were not available from police.
Another three-vehicle accident was reported at 4:03 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of West Cameron (US 79).
Drivers were listed as Robert Jones of Rockdale, Savana Everett of Rock-dale and Jackie Paschall of Bryan.
Damage estimates were not available from police.
A two-vehicle collision was reported at 4:49 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of East Cameron (US 79) and San Gabriel.
Drivers were listed as Alvin Wilganoski of Rock-dale and Shannon Douthit of Round Rock.
Police said both vehicles sustained moderate damage.
ARREST—Police made one felony arrest over the past seven days.
Jeffrey David Marsh, 57, of Rockdale was arrested Dec. 18 and was charged with burglary of a building.
He was booked into the Milam County Jail, Cameron, and was released after posting $6,000 bond.
WARRANTS—Police served five warrants over the past seven days including a Hays County warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge and a Travis County warrant for bond forfeiture.
They also served three Rockdale Police Department warrants.
OFFENSES—Offense investigations begun during the past week included one each for burglary of a vehicle, burglary of a building, theft ($750 to $2,500) and theft (less than $100).
Police also listed three incidents of driving while license invalid.
CITATIONS—Police issued 21 speeding tickets during the week, along with eight for expired registration four for failure to report change of address, two each for failure to maintain financial responsibility and driving the wrong way on a one-way street.
One ticket each was written for failure to stop for school bus and running a stop sign.
SERVICE CALLS—Officers responded to 119 calls for service during the past week and there were 87 calls received through the 911 system.
