Pantaleón taught Spanish for Rockdale High School for 10 years before she became the assistant principal at RHS in 2015 and has 26 years of education experience. She and her husband reside in Rockdale and have five children: Samantha, a teacher at Rockdale ISD; Stephani, a senior at Texas A&M; Sabrina, a junior at Texas A&M; Cade, a junior at Rockdale High School; and Scarlett, a freshman at Rockdale High School.
“Mrs. Pantaleón brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in curriculum development and implementation as well as the use of data to improve student performance,” RISD Superintendent Denise Monzingo said. “These skills, along with her passion for making a difference in the lives of students, will help Rockdale Junior High move forward academically. We are pleased to congratulate and welcome Mrs. Pantaleón to Rockdale Junior High.”
