Next week’s Reporter will be published on Tuesday, instead of the normal Wednesday, due to the Thanksgiving holiday in order for advertisers to get their Thanksgiving specials to readers before the big turkey day.
Deadline for advertising and news copy will be 12-noon Friday.
News copy, columns and news photos submitted Monday will be left out.
Annual Thanksgiving lunch slated Saturday
Rockdale’s annual Thanksgiving outreach Luncheon returns for 2018 after taking a year off in 2017.
It’s Saturday, 11 to 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
The meal is free for all the community and persons in surrounding areas, according to Pam King, spokesperson. There’s free delivery to elderly and shut-ins.
