Accidents

It was a busy week for Rockdale Police Officer Parker who responded to four accidents during the past week including:

• Ofc. Parker responded to the 400 block West Cameron Avenue for a three-vehicle accident on Tuesday.

• Ofc. Parker responded to the car wash across the street from the Rockdale Police Department at San Gabriel for a three-vehicle accident on Friday.

• Ofc. Parker responded to a two-vehicle accident in front of Brookshire brothers on Saturday.

• Ofc. Parker responded to a two-vehicle accident in front of Dollar General at 1025 W. Cameron Ave.

Arrests

RPD officers made five arrests during the past week including one each for a warrant for motion to revoke probation and DWI, driving with license invalid, failure to appear, theft of property (less than $100) and violation of bond/protective order.

Citations

Rockdale Police Officers issued 19 citations during the week, including eight for speeding, three for expired registration, two for defective headlamps, and one each for expired temporary tag, failure to change address on drivers license, no insurance, expired drivers license, no drivers license and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Calls for service Rockdale Police responded 271 total calls for service during the past week as well as 106 calls for 911 emergency service.

Incident report

There were seven incidents on the report for the week, including two for outstanding warrants and possession of drug paraphernalia, and one each for criminal mischief ($2,500 to $30,000), harassment and violation of protective order.
