Rockdale police were expected to issue a warrant in connection with an incident in which they said an individual misrepresented herself as a realtor.
Lt. Stephen Goodrich said the woman posed as a representative of a Temple company in connection with a lien situation on a piece of property.
“We contacted the company and were told she is not connected with them,” Goodrich said. “The company has sent out letters to that effect.”
The case is being worked as a complaint alleging theft by deception ($2,500 to $30,000).
DRUGS—Goodrich said police were called by the Department of Public Safety to assist in an investigation at a Rockdale residence.
“While there, ecstasy and methamphetamine were discovered,” he said.
Goodrich said an arrest warrant has been issued for Michael Rader Jr.
ACCIDENTS—Police and the Rockdale VFD were called to the West Cameron-Wilcox (US 79-FM 487) intersection at 2:32 a.m. Thursday for a report a car had knocked down a utility pole and was leaking fluid onto the roadway.
The driver was later identified as Michael Stanley of Rockdale. Extensive damage was reported.
Minor damages were reported at 12:14 p.m. Dec. 18 at First and Mulberry in a two vehicle accident.
Drivers were listed as Barbara Clark, 66, of Rockdale and Latoya Green, 31, of Houston.
