The Rockdale Tigers busted out ready to play last Friday but came up seven points shy in a battle at home for the 11-3A District title. The Tigers lost to the Lorena Leopards who finished the regular season with an overall mark of 7-2 and a district record of 5-1. Rockdale’s season will continue as the 6-4, 5-1 Tigers move on to face the potent offense of the District 12-3A Columbus Cardinals, 8-2, 5-1, in Conroe on Friday at Buddy Moorhead Stadium at Conroe High School.
