Rockdale Police Officers made five felony arrests dur ing the past week including:

• Kiki Ali Cashaw, 38, Rockdale, was arrested on Tuesday by Ofc. Lentz for two counts of possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram), possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces).

• Christopher Clayton Wallace, 44, Rockdale, was arrested on Wednesday by Sgt. Parker for forgery.

• Victor Manuel Montoya, 27, Rockdale, was arrested on Wednesday by Ofc. Puente for unauthorized use of motor vehicle, no drivers license and possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces).

• Clayton Ray Merka, 30, Rockdale, was arrested on Wednesday by Ofc. Puente on two warrants issued out of Milam County, bond surrender on possession of a controlled substance (4 to 400 grams) and bond surrender for tampering with evidence.

• Trenton Ihlenfeldt, 25, Caldwell, was arrested on Friday by Ofc. Lentz for Milam County Sheriff’s Office for unauthorized use of motor vehicle, unlawful restraint, accident involving damage to a vehicle, a Burleson County warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance (1 to 4 grams).

Accident

Ofc. Puente responded to a one-vehicle accident at the corner of Maple and Miller Streets with no injuries.

Arrests

RPD officers made 17 arrests during the past seven days including four for warrants for Class C assault, two each for possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces) and public intoxication, and one each for warrant for criminal trespass, warrant for speeding, warrant for displaying expired registration, warrant for unlawful restraint, warrant for accident involving damage to a vehicle (greater than $200), resisting arrest, assault by contact, theft (less than $100) and no drivers license.

Calls for service

Rockdale Police Officers responded to 272 total calls for service during the past week including 109 for 911 emergency service.

Incident report

There were 32 incidents on the report for the past seven days including five for interview room, four for outstanding warrants, three for possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram), two each for forgery, criminal trespass and possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces), and one each for possession of marijuana (2 to 4 ounces), animal at large, theft of service, theft, public intoxication, no drivers license, unauthorized use of motor vehicle, assault by contact, theft (less than $100), resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance (1 to 4 grams), possession of a controlled substance/prohibited substance in a correctional facility, evading arrest with previous conviction and possession of marijuana (4 ounces to 5 pounds.
