Rockdale Police Officers made two felony arrests during the past week including:
• Christopher Michael Garcia, 46, Rockdale, was arrested on Wednesday by Ofc. Puente on an outstanding warrant issued by the Board of Pardon and Parole for possession of a firearm and evading arrest/ detention with a motor vehicle.
• Amanda Marie Warren, 37, Rockdale, was arrested on Saturday by Ofc. Wachtel on a local warrant for debit or credit card abuse.
Accidents
• Sgt. Parker responded to 1300 West Cameron Avenue for a two-vehicle accident on Tuesday.
• Ofc. Puente responded to a two-vehicle accident in front of Dairy Queen which was blocking the roadway on Tuesday.
Arrests
RPD officers made nine arrests during the past week including one each for a local warrant for terroristic threat, a local warrant for theft of property ($750 to $2,500), DWI, disorderly conduct, unlawful carrying of a weapon, assault causes bodily injury, assault causes bodily injury family member, driving with license invalid and criminal trespass.
Calls for Service
Rockdale Police Officers responded to 299 total calls for service during the past seven days including 102 calls for 911 emergency service.
Incident Report
There were 17 incidents on the report for the past seven days including three for the report only, two for outstanding warrants, criminal trespass and theft of property ($750 to $2,500), and one each for DWI, unlawful carrying of a weapon, juvenile failure to provide identification giving false information, sexual assault, unauthorized use of motor vehicle, driving with license invalid, possession of a controlled substance and burglary of a building.
