Arrests
Rockdale police officers made 10 arrest during the past week including two for failure to appear warrants, and one each for bond forfeiture for theft of property, Nueces County failure to appear warrant for assault causes bodily injury, assault causes bodily injury, failure to maintain financial responsibility (second offense), expired drivers license, Cameron Police Department warrant for theft of property ($100 to $750), failure to display drivers license and driving with license invalid.
Citations
The Rockdale Police Department issued 17 citations during the past week including nine for speeding, two for expired drivers license, two for no insurance, and one each for expired registration, no drivers license, running a stop sign and a burn violation.
Incidents
This week’s incident report lists 23 items including three for outstanding warrants, three for theft ($100 to $750), two for theft (less than $100), and one each for duty on striking a fixture/highway landscaping, assault of family/ household member impeding breath/circulation, failure to identify fugitive with intent to give false information, unauthorized use of motor vehicle, violation of bond or protective order, criminal mischief ($100 to $750) and one runaway.
Accidents
Rockdale Police Officers responded to two accidents during the past week including:
• Sgt. Fain responded to a Rockdale VFD report of a wreck near NAPA with one vehicle totaled on Wednesday.
• A vehicle/pedestrian accident in front of Dollar General along with the Rockdale VFD and AMR on Sunday by Ofc. Hubnik. The pedestrian was transported to Scott & White.
