Rockdale police have identified, and are searching for, a male suspect in connection with a domestic incident.

Police Chief Thomas Harris said officers responded to a report a male had “kicked a female out of a vehicle.”

Harris said it was also alleged the subject had thrown the female’s cell phone so she could not notify 911.

Harris said the male has been identified and it is anticipated charges of assault causing bodily injury/family violence and interfering with an emergency call for assistance will be filed.

Two felony arrests were made during the past week as follows:

• Isiah Thomas Roche, 23, Rockdale, assault family household member impede breath/circulation; bond surrender-assault family household member/impede circulation; bond surrender-display fictitious motor vehicle registration; bond surrender-interfere with emergency request for assistance; in custody on $34,500 bond.

• James Willis Hill Jr., 37, Caldwell, Rockdale warrant for engaging in organized criminal activity.

ACCIDENTS—Police said minor injuries were reported in a 3:52 p.m. Monday collision in front of Cefco on West Cameron Ave. (US 79).

Drivers were listed as Phillip Meeker of Camden, Tennessee and Elmer McIrvin of Rockdale.

Minor damages were reported at 12:14 p.m. March 11 in a two-vehicle collision in the McDonald’s parking lot.

Drivers were listed as Johnny Cavazos and Rudy Castaneda, both of Rockdale.

Police were called to a collision where a pickup was hit by a deer at 12:31 p.m. Thursday at VFW Post 6525.

Driver was listed as Eliazer Fonseco of Plymouth, Indiana.

A hit and run was reported at Gonzalez Mexican Restaurant at 4:01 p.m. Thursday. Police said a Ford F150 struck a parked vehicle.

CITATIONS—Pol ic e issued 98 traffic citations during the past week, including 82 for speeding.

OFFENSES—Offenses reported to police during the past week included theft, possession of a controlled substance and assault by contact/threat.

SERVICE CALLS—Officers responded to 170 calls for service during the past week and there were 73 calls to the 911 emergency service at the Rockdale Police Station.
