MILANO—The Post Oak Savannah Groundwater Conservation District (POSGCD) will host a pair of workshops Friday at its Milano headquarters.
Rainwater Harvesting 101 will be held from 10 a.m. to 12-noon, with Turf Management to follow from 12:20 to 2:30 p.m.
“This double workshop day was designed with our out-of-town guests in mind in hopes of making it even more worth the drive,” Jaclyn Robertson, program assistant, said.
Rainwater Harvesting attendees will receive a certificate of completion that can be used to apply for the POSGCD Rainwater Harvesting Rebate Program which offers up to $3,000 reimbursement for installing such a system within the district (Burleson and Milam Counties).
Turf Management builds off the first workshop and focuses on helping Texas home owners with yard/turf management tips to get the most out of their lawns.
Lunch will be provided by the district.
