On July 1 Post Oak Savannah Groundwater Conservation District welcomed Michael Redman as a regulatory compliance specialist.
“The District is excited to add to the staff his nine years of experience and knowledge of working with other groundwater conservation districts throughout the state, and the ability to share him with the citizens of Burleson and Milam counties,” said General Manager Gary Westbrook.
Mr. Redman received a bachelor of science in biology: environmental studies and a master’s in business administration from Schreiner University.
Most recently Redman worked at Barton Springs Edwards Aquifer Conservation District where he served as the regulatory compliance manager for the last two years.
As a regulatory compliance specialist for POSGCD, Redman will assist with keeping the district adherent to rules, as well as permit holders and applicants. He will work to review permit applications, collect production reports from permit holders, inspect wells for proper completion and spacing, and provide information to the public.
