Preparing for the onslaught of zombies; well not exactly

Is the Centers for Disease Control warning us to prepare for the nightmare of a “Zombie Apocalypse”?

The short answer is no, reports the Association of Mature American Citizens.

But then what is the “Zombie Preparedness” page on the CDC’s website all about?

The CDC explains it this way: “As it turns out what first began as a tongue-in-cheek campaign to engage new audiences with preparedness messages has proven to be a very effective platform. We continue to reach and engage a wide variety of audiences on all hazards preparedness via ‘zombie preparedness’.”
