Milano’s Project Graduation will host a chicken dinner on March 18 at the KC Hall in Rockdale. Serving starts at 11 a.m. and plates are $10 each. Meals include ½ chicken, green beans, German noodles, dessert and tea. There will also be a silent auction at the events. Plates are available for dine in or take out.
Project Graduation is also selling tickets on a grill package. The package includes an Oklahoma Joe’s Highland 879 sq. in. charcoal horizontal smoker, grilling accessories, spices and $50 in meat money. Drawing will be held at the March 18 dinner. Tickets are available from any Milano High School senior or parent of MHS senior.
AUXILIARY GARAGE SALE—
Donations are now being accepted for the upcoming Milano VFD Ladies Auxiliary garage sale in early April. If you have donations that need dropped off or picked up, contact Thurla Hubert (512-455-3635) or Lois Love (512-455-7915).
RUMMAGE SALE—Crossroads Bible Church in Rockdale has extended its rummage sale to Saturday, March 3. The sale will be from 8 a.m. to noon, with all proceeds going to support the church’s mission trip to Guatemala this summer.
The mission group this year includes 20 volunteers from Rock-dale, Thorndale and Gause.
The sale will be held at the church located at 193 N FM 487 in Rockdale. Items will include adult and children clothes, shoes, household items, décor and more. To donate items for the sale, email the church at cbcrockdale@gmail.com to arrange delivery or pick-up.
