Girl Scout meetings scheduled
Girl Scouts will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Murray Street Church of Christ.
Meetings are held the second and fourth Tuesdays each month.

Genealogical society meets Tuesday
The Milam County Genealogical Society meeting will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lucy Hill Patterson Memorial Library.

Class of 1979 reunion set for July 6th
The RHS Class of 1979 is having its 45th reunion.
The class will meet on July 6 at East Bell Taphouse beginning at 2 p.m.
Wooden swing auction at
Brookshire’s
Tickets for a heavy wooden swing with frame are being auctioned off by both the Rockdale and Cameron Brookshire Brothers for $5 each to raise money for Jerry Pulley.
Pulley is a 32-year employee who has worked at both those locations and the one in Giddings, and is currently battling brain cancer.
Fit 22 Football
Showcase to be held Saturday
The fourth annual Fit 22 Football Showcase will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tiger Stadium for grades 7 to 12.
