The 100th anniversary of San Gabriel Christian Church will be held on July 28 at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary followed by a meal in the Family Life Center with speakers and music.

There will be a second fundraiser to benefit Rockdale Outdoor Youth Sports leagues on Saturday, July 27 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the East Bell Tap House.
The event will include a silent auction including cakes, a game of chance and a donation jar for attendees who would like to donate money. Like last year, the Ford Bronco group will make a return to show off their wheels.
A sloppy joe meal with sandwich, chips and bottled water will be for sale for $8.
All proceeds will go to the leagues including Girls Softball, Boys Baseball, Rockdale Youth Football and Cheer, Wake Aquatics and Youth Soccer.
Wildlife workshop set for Friday
A Wildlife and Woodlands Post Oak Savannah landowner workshop will be held this Friday, July 19 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Caldwell Civic Center.
The $20 fee includes lunch, drinks and snacks. Attendees will learn about wildlife and land management from experts with Texas Parks and Wildlife, the Amphibian and Reptile Conservancy and Natural Resources Conservation Service and others.
