The 93rd annual Holiman- Tuma reunion will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, at the Rockdale VFW, 978 US 79.

The annual Minerva Community Center Meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 10, at 6:30 p.m. All Minerva community members are encouraged to attend. During the meeting there will be a review both new and old business as well as electing a new trustee.
Some of the topics include upcoming community activities, building repairs and maintenance, and building use and rental.

Scholarship auction at 4-H banquet
The Christine Holcombe Scholarship Silent Auction will be held during the 4-H banquet on Sunday, Sept. 8, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the C.H. Yoe Performing Arts Center.
Donations for the auction are needed and can be dropped o ff at t he e xtension office at 908 North Crockett, Suite B, weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The office is closed for lunch from noon to 1 p.m. Donations will be accepted until Sept. 5.
