The Milano VFD Ladies Auxiliary will hold their Fall Garage Sale on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 3, 4 and 5.
Times will be 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the Oct. 3 and 4 and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 5. All proceeds go to the Milano VFD.
Save the Boobies Ride for a Cure to be held Oct. 5
The 14th annual Save the Boobies Ride for a Cure will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5 at Cliff’s Tavern. The motorcycle ride and food plates for sale both start at noon.
There will also be a 50/50 auction, pool tournament, a live jam session and a karaoke contest.
MCJLA turkey dinner Oct. 27
The Milam County Junior Livestock Association is having a turkey and dressing fundraising dinner on Sunday, Oct. 27, beginning at 11 a.m. until sold out at the Youth Exposition Building, 301 S Houston in Cameron.
Plates are $15 each and are available for dine-in or drive-through. Presale tickets are available from MCJLA Board Members or tickets can be purchased at the door.
Flu shots at Senior Center October 2
Rockdale Multi-Service Center will hold a flu shot clinic from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 2, sponsored by Sotera Health Care.
Attendees must bring Medicare or Medicaid card. Call the Senior Center to get on the list at 512-446-2666.
