First Friday Coffee Oct. 4 at library
The Milam County Historical Commission is sponsoring First Friday Coffee at the Lucy Hill Patterson Memorial Library this Friday, Oct. 4.
Hours are 9 to 10:30 a.m. and all are welcome.
MVFD garage sale set for Oct. 3-4-5
The Milano VFD Ladies Auxiliary will hold their Fall Garage Sale on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 3, 4 and 5.
Times will be 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the Oct. 3 and 4 and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 5. All proceeds go to the Milano VFD.
Thorndale VFD fundraiser Oct. 13
The Thorndale Ladies Firemen Auxiliary will be hosting a turkey and dressing fundraiser dinner on Sunday, October 13 at the Thorndale Firemen’s Hall. Serving will begin at 11 a.m. with both drive through or dine in.
Plates are $15 and will include turkey, dressing, gravy, noodles, green beans, cranberry and a roll. There will be no tickets sold in advance. Desserts will be available for a free will offering.
RHS Class of 1968 reunion Oct. 12th
The RHS Class of 1968 is holding a reunion on Saturday, Oct. 12, at Rockdale Country Club. All class members are invited 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cafe will be open for ordering your meal.
