Youth football, cheer fundraiser to be held Sunday
Rockdale Youth Football and Cheer will hold a chili fundraiser this Sunday, Nov. 10, in the 7Bar BBQ Parking lot at 2006 Cameron Ave.
Chili (cooked by the 7Bar BBQ staff), cheese, crackers and dessert will be $10. Sponsors are 7Bar BBQ, Alexander Farms, RTX Armory and Tiger Town Learning Center.
Thanksgiving lunch set for November 17
The 24th annual Community Outreach Thanksgiving Dinner will be held Sunday, Nov. 17, at First Baptist Church from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“We greatly appreciate any time, effort or donations you your church, business or organization is able to bless our community with,” said organizer Pam King.
Davilla craft sale to be held Saturday
Davilla Community Center is holding a craft fair on Saturday, Nov. 9 ,from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 20803 N. FM 487.
Hand-made items for sale include soaps, blankets, wood carved items, baked goods and more.

Homecoming in Milano with loaded baked potatoes
Milano High School Homecoming is Friday, Nov. 8. and the school invites the public to come to the football game early and enjoy food and visiting in the elementary cafeteria at 5:30 p.m.
On the menu are loaded baked potatoes with pulled pork, sour cream, butter, cheese with iced tea for $10 or a burger basket with chips and tea for $8.
