Lent fish fries start Friday at KC Hall
The annual Lenten Fish Fries by Knights of Columbus Council 7014 begin Friday at the KC Hall and continue every Friday of Lent. Hours are 5 to 7:30 p.m., or until sold out, and plates are priced at $10 each. The final fish fry is April
12. Rockdale’s KC Hall is located on US 79 just east of the city limits.
Spring breaks set for area schools
Rockdale joins other South Milam County Schools next week for spring break. The annual week-off is March 11-15 in the Rock-dale, Milano, Gause, Thorndale and Thorn-dale St. Paul’s systems. All those schools except Rockdale will have an early release on Friday. Classes in all districts will resume on Monday, March 18.
