This Friday, April 18 is the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Fair Park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. In addition to the Easter Egg Hun, there will be photos with the Easter Bunny, face painting, bounce houses and lots to eat and drink.
Place of Hope will hold its 13th Anniversary fundraiser on Friday, April 25 at 5:30 p.m. at Milam County Cowboy Church. Tickets are $50.
The mail will be catered by Chris Kelm with desserts by Lindsey Lillard.
There will be drawings for a gun, a $2,500 gift certificate and both live and silent auctions.

Genealogical society meets
Tuesday
The Milam County Genealogical Society will hold its April meeting on Tuesday, April 22, at 2 p.m. at the Lucy Hill Patterson Memorial Library.
The speaker for the program will be Monica Jarrell who will share information from Roots Tech. Guest are always welcome.
