Letter carriers collecting food on Saturday
The annual Letter Carriers Food Drive to benefit the Rockdale Christian Services Food Pantry is set for Saturday.
Place your non-perishable donation in a bag by your mailbox and your carrier will pick it up.
Food will be collected and given to the RCS Food Pantry for distribution.
Brat Trot Run set in Cameron
CAMERON—This is a big weekend in Cameron with music, a barbecue cookoff, a 5K run/walk, children’s fun zone and much more.
Site is Ledbetter Park on FM 1600.
It starts Friday night with a free “party in the park” concert featuring the Bryce Daniels Band.
There’s a full day Saturday beginning with check-in for the Kids 1K Root Beer and Hot Dog Trot and the 5K Beer and Brat Trot. Online signup is at https://runsignup.com/beer and brat 5K.
