Tiger track now closed for repairs
It turned out when 102 Rockdale High School graduating seniors used the Tiger Stadium track Friday evening it was the last use of that facility for more than a week.
According to an announcement by the RISD Administration the track closed the day after graduation for repairs and will be closed through Tuesday (June 4).
Reason is “excessive and heavy rain” since the track was constructed last year.
The project is for “warranty work and resurfacing,” according to the Rockdale ISD.
