Reporter Santa letter deadline set Friday for Dec. 19 paper
Deadline to turn in the traditional hand-written Santa letters to The Reporter is Friday.
Letters need to contain both the first and last names of the child.
They can be dropped off at the office, 221 E. Cameron. Rockdale Elementary School students may use the drop-box near the school office.
Letters will be published in the Dec. 19 edition of The Reporter.
Roundup deadline ahead on Friday
Nomination deadline for persons to be served by 2019 Christmas Roundup is Friday.
Roundup, Rockdale’s annual program of Christmas cheer for the less fortunate, is also accepting donations from the public.
Toy donations may be taken to Rockdale Signs, 139 West Cameron (US 79), across from the Old City Hall.
Forms to nominate persons to be served by the 2019 Roundup are available at The Rockdale Reporter, Lucy Hill Patterson Memorial Library, One-Stop Center, Citizens National Bank, Classic Bank, Rockdale Federal Credit Union, Rockdale Chamber of Commerce, Rockdale City Hall and local churches.
MILANO—This year Roundup will also serve Milano. Roundup boxes for Milano and Gause families to be served will be available for pickup at the Milano Community Center from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Dec. 16.
For those unable to pick them up, boxes will be delivered beginning at 9 a.m. Dec. 17.
