Milano sets graduation for Friday
Commencement ceremonies are set for 7 p.m. Friday, at Pruitt Field, according to Supt. Robert Westbrook.
Seniors are limited in number of guests who may attend, he said, but a live feed will be provided through the school’s social media page.
There are 41 members in the Class of 2020 at MHS.
After graduation a parade will make its way through Milano from Pruitt Field to downtown.
Route will be the same as used in other annual parades in Milano.
Thrift Shop set to re-open on June 3rd
Rockdale Christian Services’ Heavenly Treasures Thrift Shop, 233 North Main, will re-open June 3 with reduced hours.
It will be open 9 a.m. to 12-noon Tuesday through Friday with the following restrictions, according to Pam Warren, RCS president:
• Face mask required for all shoppers.
• Limit three customers in store at one time.
• No children.
• Bag Day (first Friday of month) canceled temporarily.
