Milano VFD to hold benefit fundraiser for Whitmore on Sunday
The Milano Volunteer Fire Department will hold a benefit for Second Assistant Chief Robert Whitmore on Sunday, Nov. 7, at 11:30 a.m.
All proceeds will go towards his medical expenses and treatments.

Farmers Market changes venues
The Rockdale Farmer’s Market at the Chamber wrapped up their season last Saturday.
But don’t fret, some of your favorite market vendors will begin setting up at “The Market at The 1895” on Burleson Street next to the Old City Hall, starting Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Stop by to pick up your local meats, produce and artisan goods. “The Market at The 1895” will run from November through March on Saturdays (except holiday weekends) until the Chamber’s 2022 season launches.
Choo-Choo Chili at Depot November 13
The Rockdale Historical Society is selling tickets for the annual Choo-Choo Chili at the I&GN Depot Museum which will be held on Saturday, Nov. 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Tickets are $10 and will include homemade chili and dessert. This year it will be held in drive through fashion.
