Rockdale officer Dillan Ford now deputy at MCSO
Former Rockdale Police Officer, Dillan Ford, is now with the Milam County Sheriff’s Department after serving the City of Rockdale for the past two years.
“Ford started his law enforcement career at the Sheriff’s Department and we welcome him back as deputy,” said Milam County Sheriff Mike Clore.
Ford was sworn in Monday by Sheriff Clore.
Band booster spaghetti meal Monday
The Rockdale Band Boosters will hold their annual spaghetti dinner on Monday, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. in the Junior High Commons.
Tickets are $10 and available through band students and also at the door.
A silent auction, a live cake auction and music by Rockdale bands will be provided throughout the dinner.
To-go plates are available starting at 4:30 p.m.
MCT holds auditions for Jungle Book
Milam Community Theater (MCT) is holding auditions on Saturday and Sunday for the upcoming play Jungle Book. The play is adapted
The play is adapted from Disney’s animated film and the works of Rudyard Kipling.
Auditions times are Saaturday from 12 to 3 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. Students ages 6 to 18 are invited to participate.
