Christmas events coming December 3rd
Don’t miss Breakfast with Santa at the Patterson Center from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3. McDonald’s is providing pancakes, milk and juice. Arts and crafts projects are included in the $5 tickets.
The Christmas Craft Market will be held at Wolf Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3 with arts, crafts and lots of food. There will also be beer and wine vendors and Santa.
The lighted Christmas Parade will be start at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at Fair Park and end at Wolf Park. Prizes will be awarded in five categories.
Special needs group set to meet Dec. 6th
The Special Needs Support Group will hold their Christmas party from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, at the Patterson Civic Center.

Rockdale Alcoa retirees to meet December 8th
The Rockdale Alcoa Retirees will meet on Thursday, Dec. 8.
The meeting will be held at the Thorndale Veteran’s Memorial Hall (formerly known as the VFW Hall). Doors open at 5 p.m. The business meeting begins at 5:45.
All attendees are invited to bring their best desserts for this meeting. We will be collecting canned goods at this meeting for distribution to area food banks.

PTO meeting set for Nov. 29 at junior high
The Rockdale PTO organization will hold their next meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, in the Junior High Commons.
