Rose sale set for Saturday at Chamber
Little River Basin Master Gardeners Association’s (LRBMGA) Fall Rose sale is set for Saturday, in Rockdale and Cameron, according to Jennifer Lazarow, marketing committee member.
Roses will be sold at two locations, the Rockdale Chamber of Commerce from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the Downtown Cameron at “Steaktober Fest” from 10 a.m to 7 p.m.
Lazarow said both locations will have the same roses in a variety of colors; Belinda Dream, Climbing Pinkie, South Africa, Living Easy, Hot Cocoa, Cinco de Mayo, climbing Don Juan, Plum Perfect, Cadenza, and F. J. Lindheimer.
“Roses sell below market value for $18 and no tax since the LRBMGA is a nonprofit association under the auspices of the AgriLife Extension Service,” she said.
