Milam County CPS fundraiser set for Saturday

A six-foot f lamingo may appear in your yard soon because the Milam County Child Protective Services Flamingo Fundraiser starts on Saturday as part of April’s Child Abuse Prevention Month.

If the flamingo appears, a donation of $25 will remove the flamingo and it won’t come back. Plus you’ll get to decide who the flamingo goes to next. But be quick about it because there is a $10 per day “resting fee” to keep it moving.

Contact Rachel Owens at 512-429-1336 to have the flamingo moved and let her know where to place it next. Checks may be made payable to Milam County CPS Board.
