Thanksgiving closings many around area
Here are holiday closings for Thanksgiving:
• Area schools are out all week.
• City Hall and the City Library will be closed both Thursday and Friday. The library will also be closed Saturday.
• Thursday garbage pickup will be made Friday and Friday pickup on Saturday.
• Post office will be closed all day Thursday.
• Banks and credit union will close Thursday only.
• The Rockdale Reporter will be closed Thursday and Friday.
Reporter Santa letter deadline set Dec. 7th
Deadline to turn in the traditional hand-written Santa letters out to The Reporter is Friday, Dec. 7. Letters need to contain both the first and last names of the child.
They can be dropped off at the office, 221 East Cameron. Rockdale Elementary School students may use the drop-box near the school office.
Letters will be published in the Dec. 19 edition of The Reporter.
