Genealogical society meets

Senior Hailey Meadors was crowned Thorndale’s Homecoming Queen on Friday night.
Hailey is the daughter of Rockdale Police Chief Jerry Meadors and wife Carla.
Tuesday
The Mi lam County Genealogical Society will hold their September meeting at the Lucy Hill Patterson Memorial Library.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 26, at 2 p.m. Visitors are always welcome.

Pumpkin Patch on Main Street
October 7th
Rockdale Chamber of Commerce’s weekly farmers market will have a pumpkin patch on Saturday, Oct. 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
There will be a pumpkin display set up for fall photos of the kids or the whole family. Also included for the kids will be pumpkin decorating and even pumpkins for sale.
