Rockdale community giveaway
Luke Ten Thirty Three, Inc. is sponsoring a community giveaway of clothing, shoes, household goods, furnishings and decor on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the 100 block of Plum Street.
There will be games and prizes for kids along with a bounce house and firetruck tours.
Gently used items may be donated on March 15 from 12-5 p.m.

Free classes at Davilla Comm. Center
Davilla Community Center, 20803 FM 487, is offering free classes for the next several months.
On March 19 at 9:30 a.m. will be soap making. April 16 at 6:30 p.m. will be rainwater harvesting. May 21 at 6:30 p.m. will be beekeeping.
Mesquite Cemetery Assn. to meet April 27
The Mesquite Cemetery Association will be holding its semi-annual spring 2024 meeting and pot luck lunch at noon on Saturday, April 27. The cemetery is located at 1073 CR 336 in Lexington, south of FM 112 between Taylor and Lexington.

Good Friday service at New Jerusalem
New Jerusalem Nondenominational Church will hold a Good Friday worship service on Friday, March 29 at 7 p.m. titled Healing and Deliverance.
The church is located at 103 Mulberry Street.
